My friend Jenni has this really great blog called Live. Believe. Worry a bit.
She lives in Finland but is studying translation and can speak a million different languages and is almost always on the move. I love her blog because it is always so thoughtful and funny and oddly moving at times.
Sam: What's it like living life on the edge?
Me: Windy.
Oh yeah, I ran the Bath Half marathon at the weekend - came in at a respectable 2 hours 15 minutes. I like to think that’s not bad seeing as had never run for more than 20 minutes before I started my training!

Allan Ginsberg, the Beats
I just watched ‘Howl’ with James Franco playing Allan Ginsberg. The film wasn’t ground-breaking (even the opening credits left me thinking it was destined for obscurity) but it did remind how inspiring I find the Beats. I read ‘On the Road’ a few years ago, and again when I was actually on a road trip in the US and it blew my mind each time.
